J. Kevin McCurren joined the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation in May 2011 as the Exectuvie Director. Kevin has over 25 years of combined corporate and entrepreneurial experience. As an entrepreneur he has been involved in the start-up of a medical management company, a dental laboratory company and several biomedical companies. As an investor, Kevin has been involved in several angel investment groups and recently served on the Executive Committee of the Venture Club of Louisville. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Public Health and Health Services Management from the University of Missouri.

Bergman joined BBC in 2000. She has 20 years of experience in managing schedules, finances and organizations. Prior to joining BBC, Ms. Bergman served as the Global Sales Administrator for Comshare, Inc. in Ann Arbor. As BBC’s Administrative Manager, she is responsible for the day-to-day office management, as well as the financial management for BBC. Ms Bergman provides grant management training and financial management service to BBC clients currently under management.
Eric has been a consultant with West Michigan office since early 2010 assisting small businesses in the Muskegon, Grand Haven and Holland area. Eric brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of financing and small business management to the newly formed FSS team. Before joining the MI-SBTDC, Eric held a position with the mergers and acquisitions firm in Grand Rapids. In addition, he assisted his wife in growing her home health care business into $2 million in sales and over 100 employees. Prior to that, Eric was a senior level manager for a bank lending group where he specialized in SBA loans. Eric has received many recognitions for his efforts and is highly regarded among his peers. In 2006, he was awarded Financial Services Champion of the Year for the state of Michigan.
